I shot this video from my backyard in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas, Nevada on the night of September 29, 2017.
The weather and conditions were excellent last night. I had just walked out when I immediately noticed three or four objects in a line on the other side of the valley. I began filming them with my camcorder until they faded away. I also began filming them with my night vision camera until I lost them. While waiting for them to return another dimly lit object appeared in the same location. I followed it as it sped to the Black Mountain in Henderson where it stopped on a dime, turned around and headed the other way towards Sunrise Mountain. The object did not have any flashing lights on it and could only be detected using the night vision camera. I measured the distance from points where it began and where it ended and how long it took to travel that distance. I then did the math that showed the object was moving at a speed of around 200 miles per hour. An ordinary helicopter can reach speeds of up to 160 miles per hour and a Eurocopter X3 can reach speeds up to 293 miles per hour but I highly doubt this was even a helicopter at all.
